Stanford University. The Stanford University is a private research university located in Stanford, California. Its tennis program offers both private and group lessons for children and adults year round. They also offer a year-round junior team which competes annually in the Midpeninsula Junior Interclub League and USTA Junior League.
Larger universities which have perennial success have larger budgets than numerous other D1 programs. These elite D1 women’s tennis colleges will recruit the best student-athletes throughout the United States and internationally. With 4.5 scholarships available per team D1 women’s tennis is highly competitive when coaches recruit.

Tennis scholarships can fully fund the opportunity of playing full-time tennis, compete against universities all across the USA and of course get a university degree. The level is extremely high and the set-up very professional. College tennis certainly does not close the door to the professional game.
